[ 3.0 stars ] "This strap has held up so-so over time. The hole that I usually use on the strap has widened and I'm afraid will eventually tear through to the next hole. There are two bands to hold the end of the strap down, and the plastic is coming off of one of them and the fabric can be seen.These are NOT kevlar or any other fancy material--they are just plastic. [ 4.0 stars ] "I bought this Hadley-Roma's 18mm Kevlar strap for my Hamilton Khaki. It works beautifully. The Kevlar band has proven indestructible as well as smell resistant. With the leather backed nylon band, which came with my Khaki, it began to smell very quickly since I wear the watch all the time (except showering). I believe it began smelling from getting wet.
